The Education Roundtable Series
The Education Roundtable Series includes regular lunch discussions held in conjunction with area Chambers of Commerce and businesses.
For 2009-2010, each session will focus on a specific topic selected by the chamber or business hosting the event. Topics will include creating world-class education standards, the benefits of socioeconomic diversity in public schools, understanding the school system's budget, curriculum issues or other current education issues the chambers or hosting business might want to discuss.
The topics represent issues the Partnership believes are important when it comes to providing excellent public schools for all students. Chamber members, parents, business employees, educators, community representatives and elected officials are encouraged to attend. Meetings are generally held from noon to 1:30 p.m. and include lunch.
