Advisory Councils

In its role as an organization that brings together business leaders and educators, the Partnership regularly convenes advisory councils to encourage and create open lines of communication on key issues.

One of these councils, the Public Education Advisory Council, is a group of 10 educators made up of Wake County Teachers of the Year, Principals of the Year, Assistant Principals of the Year and other significant award winners. The current composition of the group can be found here in addition to the council's Statement of Purpose.

A CFO (Chief Financial Officer) Advisory Council also meets as needed with the district superintendent to discuss budget issues and financial needs of the school system. Current council members can be found here along with the group's Statement of Purpose.

Please contact Tim Simmons, VP of Communications, or call the Partnership office at 919.821.7609 if you have questions or can't find the information you need.
