Leadership Institute
Leadership for successful public schools begins at all levels across our entire county. Community leaders for public education in Wake County—whether as a parent, businessperson, elected official or candidate—were invited to participate in the 2005 Institute for Wake County School Leaders. The Institute focuses on developing strong community leaders for public education.
The Institute serves to educate, inform and empower participants:
- Advocate for high academic standards in public schools;
- Develop the attributes of successful public leadership; and
- Mobilize specific communities in support of educational initiatives.
