Since 1983, Wake Education Partnership has been awarding grants to Wake County public school teachers and support personnel through our teacher grant programs. The grants have provided opportunities for teachers to challenge themselves and their students in new and exciting ways.
For 2012, we are excited to offer four types of grants: Professional Learning Community, Innovative Instruction – General, Innovative Instruction – Science and Innovative Instruction – Nutrition/Health.
Timeline:
- APPLY NOW! Apply between February 6 - April 13, 2012
- Attend a grant writing workshop February 29, 2012 or March 26, 2012
- Receive notification of grant status in May 2012
- Attend the award reception on May 23, 2012 at Duke Raleigh Hospital
- Receive funds at beginning of 2012 - 2013 school year
- Implement project from July 2012 – June 2013
- Participate in Spring 2013 awards reception
